This, I went with family and stayed in one of the gold villas, The area was lovely, and we had our own private pool. I am not sure how much they paid for it, but I priced up the same thing next year and its around £1800 for two people, in a Gold Villa, for two weeks, and that included car retal.

We're in the final countdown to travel day now with only 23 days to go so I'm currently bursting with information I've obtained through research so if there's anything you'd like to know I may be able to help.

You mentioned you're in the early stages of planning so I wont go on about "in the park" tips, tricks and strategies - of which I have plenty, I'll instead stick with initial booking tips:

I agree with what a lot of people here have said re: villa, if you go the hotel route you're likely going to end up with 1 room with 2 double beds in, it's going to get real crowded real quick! With a villa you have the advantage of space!

Another option is to look at staying on property at Disney, they have a variety of accommodation choices that offer hotel (or even lodge) style accommodation but have separate bed rooms etc, plus you get all the on site advantages.

If you're going the villa route I think you're definitely going to want a car, take a look at www.alamo.co.uk/brits they normally offer decent prices along with all the insurance you'll need etc.

I got mine from www.floridatix.com, they're well known across trip advisor etc. You're able to put a £10 per ticket deposit down and pay the final balance closer to your travel date; they also send you real tickets rather than vouchers that you have to exchange.

As far as how many days per park - I'd say you need to dedicate at least 1 day per park to each park, the only exception at the moment is probably hollywood studios, you'll get away with a half day there as half the park is under construction.

I'd agree with 1 day per park, although you may want to see the night time shows a couple of times as they are amazing. Plus I'd probably choose to do the water parks twice, great fun. I prefer the Disney water parks over the other parks.

Also, if you do go to Epcot and don't like being spun around like crazy, under no circumstances choose the Orange Team on Mission Space. That fudgeed me up for at least two days after that, constantly feeling queezy etc. I thought I could handle it but was wrong!

Will likely be busy being middle of summer, not that the parks are ever really quiet but still. Pandora will be open in Animal Kingdom so depending on its popularity it could turn out to be a 2 day park.

A new area in the Animal Kingdom, "World of Pandora" it's based on Avatar, looks quite impressive but as with anything new at Disney is sure to be busy!
