Travel agent did suggest travel credit card or something  similar which does seem less hassle. We will do a few day trips and maybe get up early and do Rome one day. Haha we won’t do 5 star meal every night maybe 2 nights max lol

I want to go Naples for their pizza best in the world I think haha and never tried a fried pizza before.
Capri and almelfi coast we will want to do and Pompei. I don’t think there is much entertainment at the hotel so will be nice to go to few bars some evening. Girlfriend wants to be one of the locals going to bars they go etc and see all he famous places our first holiday together we want to experience great places and create great memories. I’m just looking places you guys recommend really.

My parents are Italian and come from avelino which is small village in Naples so I will be able to talk their dialect . Thanks again guys for your great advice and suggestions. We are staying at
Mar Hotel Alimuri just outside Sorrento place called meta it’s about 3 miles from Sorrento but hotel provides free shuttle bus

Best staying close to the rail/bus station and harbour really, unless your shuttle bus thingie is really available. Most of Amalfi tourism is excursuons to neighbouring places, hence need for proximity to transport. IMO

It doesn't even need to be dead close, I mean you could be along the road in a more town central position handy for bars and stuff, but the point is, there you'd be on the flat and still relatively close, as opposed to up some great big hill miles away - pretty maybe but not practical.

And yes, the pizza really is better in Italy! Rabbit is also pretty good in Italy.

Very true. Just prepare to receive confused looks if you ask for garlic bread as a side. It's not a thing over there!

Haha I rather have brescuita than garlic bread. I don't like sea food other than scampi and prawns. Meat wise I like fillet, chicken breast and some pork like sausages or spare ribs etc but seems a lot of the food over there contain fish of some sort.

Can't wait only 70 odd days to go. Lot of day trips I want is to do despite us having all inclusive. Pizza in naples is a definite I won't try the rabbit though lol

I generally order the bruschetta.  I prefer the tomato type with no cheese.  Some places use some weirdly crispy bread and I don't like those.

Some places seem to want to stick anchovies in the salad dressings.  I avoid meat and fish and don't normally have a problem.
