I bought it as I have plenty to go though and maybe the others will come on offer and also if I bought the early ones full price to see if I liked it it may have gone off offer.

Chris Ryan does seem to be one of those authors whose various series do drop in price quite often.  Think though he is one of the few authors I’ve actually paid full price for and not been disappointed

His books are what they are.   Boys own adventures but as said he does seem to write with more energy and passion than mcnab has of late (I have purchased every one of McNabs books since Bravo Two Zero and his latest was one of the few books I had to give up on)

The Fix  99p at present.

Synopsis:
Amos Decker, David Baldacci's unique special agent, who suffered a head injury that resulted in giving him the gift of a remarkable memory takes on another case in The Fix.

Walter Dabney is a family man. A loving husband and the father of four grown daughters, he’s built a life many would be proud of.

But then the unthinkable happens.

Standing outside the FBI Headquarters in Washington, DC, Dabney shoots school teacher Anne Berkshire in cold blood before turning the gun on himself.

One of the many witnesses is Amos Decker; a man who forgets nothing and sees what most miss. Baffled by what appears to be a seemingly senseless and random killing, Decker is thrust into the investigation to determine what drove this family man to pull the trigger.

As part of an FBI special task force, Decker and the team delve into the lives of Dabney and Berkshire to find a connection that doesn’t seem to exist. What they do find are secrets that stretch back a lifetime and reveal a current plot of impending destruction that will send the world reeling, placing Decker and his team squarely in the crosshairs.

One of Ben Hopes latest 99p The Bach Manuscript

The spellbinding new Ben Hope thriller.

A LOST MANUSCRIPT. A SAVAGE MURDER. A DEADLY SECRET.

While on a business trip to the UK, Ben Hope makes an impulse decision to attend a college reunion at his former university, Oxford. There he meets an old friend, Nick, now an internationally-renowned classical musician.

But storm clouds are soon once again brewing on Ben’s horizon. After Nick’s brutal murder in an apparent home invasion robbery, Ben is drawn into the mystery of a missing music manuscript that may be a lost work by the legendary composer Johann Sebastian Bach.

The hunt for his friend’s killers leads Ben across Europe, and into bloody conflict with even more dangerous people than he’d bargained for. As his quest unfolds, so does the shocking truth about the lost Bach manuscript, a secret dating back to the very darkest historical chapter of Man’s inhumanity to Man.

‘If you like your conspiracies twisty, your action bone-jarring, and your heroes impossibly dashing, then look no farther.’ MARK DAWSON

Join the ever-growing legion of readers who get breathless with anticipation when the countdown to the new Ben Hope thriller begins…

@dUnKle I hope you forgiven Ben for his early indiscretion he really does make up for it albeit not to the person involved.
