Cheers, seem very McNabb / Nick Stone from descriptions but worth a try.

I had it on my kindle a while, 1st one that in and as I was not too far in my new book and saw the others on offer I though I give it a good run first one does seem as though hes on the wrong side of the law which makes a change although Guy sounds to have the same the same background as Ben Hope ex army and run a very profitable business. But Ben Hope has that bit where he uncovers historical stuff.looks like he gets away and then employed by the government for ops in the other issues.

Read a fair but yesterday and there's an option to buy what ever you not got in the series but I bought the other 5 separate as I got the Ben Hope collection and it sticks them in the Kindle as one book and when looking how long to finish the book or percentage it states for all the 6 books rather the one your reading.
I just looked at the price of the paperbacks and the first one £8.99 so I count if I only like the first one In still ahead.

I've done same. Purchased them all as, as you say, it still works out cheaper than one paperback.

I think grey justice wins the award for quickest book to be deleted from my Kindle yet

Just so much the same as nearly every other book out there but as if it was written by my teenage self. It very much felt like someone had gone through Stephen Leathers deleted "ideas" folder. As soon as I got to the "and he heard that the killer of his child had gotten off in a reduce charge" bit, that was it for me

These "flawed lone hero (usually with a name that can be used as a pun for the title)" books are far too common and seem to be like the male equivalent of mills and boon, write enough and someone will buy it.

Of all the reacher clones I've read, this was the worst.

I may not have read as many as you in this line, I'm quite enjoying it and found some of the issues raised in the story relevant to a news item I saw the other day.
And so far the only main character, who your suppose to side with I read that's totally on the wrong side of the law/government. Also 50% in and there really been no action and its holding me so far, and seems no padding although not like a lot of the other of 400  pages is only 243.
I use to have a rule if over 300 pages I would not read although was broken a fair few times and now rare I pick one up under 300.
