Colour me impressed with the whole package.

I like the details at the end about the character, the writer and artist. I have read this GN already, but to anyone that is not really a Spider-Man fan, this is an excellent little story, with some great fight sequences. Also, I am pretty sure the front page, the little details leading up to the story contained within the book are not in the graphic novel version I read of this.

I agree with WibXL's comments above - The quality is very good, and is printed on good quality paper, and although I won't be buying all of them, I will be grabbing the first three for sure and then cherry picking my way through the rest

The tp would cost you a tenner anyway, so a hardback version is a bargin, and this for £3 is a steal. Grab one now. :smashing:

There is some more info (lol, the TV advert came on as I typed this!) about upcoming issues, so I will amend a post with the details as we get them.

And one last thing - please Mr Marvel, please do not chop any books in half. I see World War Hulk is a future release, and thats a big old tome, and although a tenner is a bargin, a score is not.

I noticed the number 21 on the spine which I thought was a bit strange. If the rest are released like that it'll make the spine art a bit of a mess until you buy them all. Wonder if that's the plan.

Decent sized branches of WH Smith often seem to have stacks of different collector titles such as this so hopefully you will be successful.

Yes I'm going to try on Thursday, I popped in a newsagent yesterday and rather than looking asked and they said new year stuff was coming in today, so I popped in today nothing went to an other and asked and was told sold out first day

By the way how many issues in a book the Dark Phoenix saga was a realy a long build up of Jean Grey corruption by Mastermind and became the black queen then eventually became the the Dark Phoenix in 134 and ultimate out come ended in the double issue of 137. I have the original copies of these.

By the way the run of the Phoenix Saga running from 101-137 was the greatest run of comics ever IMHO, even experts will have it in the top ten if not the top 5 all time greats

You can subscribe here. The Official Marvel Graphic Novels Collection - Collect the series of books

I will be keeping clear off them as I can't afford/justify them. I have already to many comics on my sub.
