Was passing Smiths today and the have X-Men:The Dark Phoenix in I got a copy and it covers issues 129-137

Some info if you did not know is the characters in the Hellfire Club were taken from actors Sebastian Shaw - Robert Shaw, Donald Pierce - Donald Sutherland, and Jason Wyngarde, was a combination of Jason King and Peter Wyngarde, and the black queen is based on Emma Peel in the episode of The Avengers A Touch of Brimstone also staring Peter Wyngarde.

By the way some of my statues related to the Phoenix Saga

Cheers for that list DickieDuvet - it looks like people were right in expecting several GNs were going to be split into two parts...

Dissapointed with the two Daredevil issues . Man without Fear and Yellow would have been far better, but seeing as they are both origin type stories, then one of them plus the Miller run would have been far better choices!

http://www.amazon.co.uk/Daredevil-Frank-Miller-Klaus-Janson/dp/0785134735/ref=sr_1_6?s=books&ie=UTF8&qid=1326366432&sr=1-6

The Punisher book is fantastic - Garth Ennis and Steve Dillon, and I have the Marvel Hardback of this and its massive - 13? issues, so thought that may be on the cupse of any potential split volumes. Seems WWH gets one volume, and Planet Hulk two, but PH is 100 pages larger according to Amazon. I have the PH trade from Smiths, so I will pick up WWH.

However, now knowing the list, I think my pickings may be slim...bold are definites.

The Amazing Spider-Man: Coming Home
The Uncanny X-Men: Dark Phoenix

Wolverine
Avengers: Disassembled
Secret War
The Incredible Hulk - Planet Hulk Pt 1
The Incredible Hulk - Planet Hulk Pt 2
Spider-Man: Blue
House of M
The Amazing Spider-Man: Revelations (sequel to Coming Home, not the end of the Clone Saga)
Wolverine: Old Man Logan
Secret Invasion
Son Of M
Siege

Avengers: Disassembled and House of M should both be definites in that list, TB - unless you already have them.

Hi,

Issue Two is out now, for £6-99.

For anyone who tried to subscribe via the Official website, and selected Direct Debit or Invoice as their payment methods, and found that after completing their subscription request, the website failed to successfully take it, there is a known bug with the site, and Hachette are looking to fix it.

In the meantime, either use one of the Subscription forms/cards included in Issues 1, 2 or 3 instead, or e-mail:  [email protected]  and they will get back to you. Their response time is quite slow - about 5 days - to get back to e-mail enquiries, but bear with it, as they're being inundated with subscriptions for this partwork. (This was what the lady who e-mailed me, said. )

From the insert though, it looks like you can set up the subscription at any time, so I personally am waiting for a few in a run that I want before subscribing and grabbing some swag.

I've received my confirmation letter from Hachette, was hoping it would give some indication of when I would receive the first issue but unfortunately doesn't.

Well the trouble with a lot of Marvel and more so the X-men there is a lot of back history, charaters and probably they may have been better starting with the Giant Size X-Men and issue 94 and how Jean got her powers and Lilandra the Starjammers and how Jean saved the Universe in the M-kron crystal (spellings???). although the synopsis is pretty good at the start of the book.
As I read it when it came out I'm getting a bit hacked off SPOILER because I know whats coming and its just reminded me The White Queen had a hand in corrupting Jean and now Scott left Jean for her. It seems strange that hes gone off with the woman in part responsible for Jean becoming Dark Phoenix although a copy of her
