Actually it is some of my kit, and some of my son's. It usually resides in the study or his bedroom (or now with him at uni).

He puts it in the garage on occasions so that he and his mates can play allnighters without keeping us awake... (pity the neighbours though)

Yes, very comfortable. Probably more so than a Les Paul IMO...

Gordon Smith GS2 (hand made in't North) and a wee 15 Watt Marshall for me, bought it when I was about 17 - I wanted to play like Slash but couldn't afford a Gibson,  and was then distracted by other things through my twenties. I picked it up again last Jan with the intention of learning to play the way I had always wanted to be able to, I've been putting in the hours ever since and have improved enormously.
It sounds great with the two humbuckers and the tone backed off a little, the action is pretty good but it does buzz a bit. I should take it to a luthier really. I tried a LP Studio at the time and was really disapointed, I don't think it had been set up properly, the strings were about an inch off the fretboard (I exagerate slightly!) and it was awful to play, the GS was like silk in comparison, although it buzzed like a kazoo when I first picked it up!

I've promised myself a Les Paul and Marshall Plexi when I think I'm good enough, I rekon it'll take me another year or two, or three before I'm anywhere near where I want to be.

I'm not sure how to use this yet but the flashing lights look cool.

My little setup: Marshall MG100HDFX Head attached to MG412A Cab, noise generated by a Jackson guitar with EMG pickups with effects and EQ done by the Boss ME50 and MXR M108!

I couldn't resist showing off my genuine Irish Tin Whistle:

I can just about play 'Scarborough Fair' on it!

How do you find the Marshall setup? I'm thinking of retiring my old 130watt Crate combo for a head and cab setup and the MG100HDFX was on my list.

The MG100HDFX is not as good as say a JCM800 or 900 but does cost a lot less. I find by using the ME50 & EQ unit I can get practically any tone I want, but without them the head does produce a lot of low end BUT I suspect that is down to the EMG's.

Apparently the MG series they released in January are excellent.
