Good for them. Based on my experience of 16/17 yo's including my own kids no way I'd give them a vote. Just not mature enough.

The dispatch box he's only done one PMQ since he's been PM why do you think that is.
I think he will get destroyed in a live debate.
I don't even think he will turn up if there was one

The thing that works in Bojo favor is that is so unpredictable.
You know what you will get from Corbyn, more Citizen Kane, more national this or that or more math lessons for Abbot

Why.
At 16 you can leave home go to work pay tax have sex legally 17 you can drive.
I know 20-30-40-50-60-70 years olds that vote and havent got a clue.
Works well apparently in Scotland

Yep, there are 16 year olds (and younger) out there who have to support households for one reason or another. Act more like adults than some adults.

So generalising that all 16 year olds just shouldn't vote is nonsense.

Worlds apart eh? When I was 16 absolutely everyone to a man, ahem, boy was Tory and it was just a matter of how right wing. Now we're in our 40's and although we do have 1 Tory MP from our year the people I've met at reunions etc are seriously mellowed in their views and much more likely to vote Libdem or Labour;

Personally I'd rather have 16 year olds valued in society and made part of the decision making process than ignored and treated as "children".

If they're old enough to ruin their future by being responsible for their exams they are old enough to help elect a government which will do the same thing.

For those who think 16 year olds aren't up for the job, well should we have intelligence tests for 75 year olds to make sure they're not too senile to vote?  Why stop there, why not a general knowledge test for the population before they can vote?

As to an election.  It's a great boon for Boris to get out of being held responsible for his behavior, but a second referendum on the same day as an election is the best idea I've heard mentioned.

Here is the thing, your view of the world at 16 is a lot different to when you're 25 , 35 or grumpy me at 48 LOL!

Corbyn of course understands that at such a young age you're going to more socialist in thinking.

You don't need a brain/reasoning to leave home or have sex. As for driving, why do you think insurance companies charge them £2.5K
