Can’t agree more! SNP governing responsibly in Scotland compared to the shambles throughout the rest of the UK.

Not sure really. SNP are a leave Britain policy party governing a stay in the union voters.

Council tax supper high to pay for another public vote that no one wants.

What a mess.

That is what happens when people have a referendum with no idea about the implications of staying or leaving.
Mind you, I suspect a number of politicians did either.

Is that like a Fish Supper...

council tax is generally lower in Scotland
The average Band D property in Scotland pays £1,162 in council tax, while the average Band D property in England pays £1,591........the average bill for each of the eight bands is higher in England than it is in Scotland, with the average of bands A-H at £1,551.33 in Scotland and £1,922.46 in England.

Do Scots pay more tax than the rest of the UK?
While that is report is dated 2017, my Council Tax for 2019 is roughly the same as it was in 2017.

They can appeal it to the valuations board, I live in a semi-detached (identical houses)
I'm Band E, neighbour is Band D

Think it was 1991 the last time the bands where calculated by the councils
