Nope it doesn't - I am not proposing that I wish to exhibit 'improper behaviour', I merely don't wish to see draconian, authoritarian regulation or oppression on peoples rights to say what ever they want however they want to say it as long as it isn't prejudiced/rascist/yelling fire in a theater.

- is not a proper and well constructed criticism of Reality TV shows or their audiences, it's just hyperbole aimed at expressing my general dislike for the format and it's social effects.

If someone wants to make similar comparrisons or hyperbole statements about political parties, politicians or policies, then I don't believe they should be stopped from doing so, no matter how much I agree or disagree with statement or it's offensiveness*.

*unless it's purpose or subtext is aimed exclusively at a particular ethnicity/gender**/colour

** and not tongue in cheek but actual misandry/misogeny.

The definition of what is anti semitism is quite clear, and regardless of how you want to dress it up; comparing contemporary Israeli policy to that of the Nazis wholly fits within the definition.

Have to admit that I am having issues on this when considering what the state of Isreal is moving towards . I know I should focus on this and  Labours flailing around  the wilderness and unwilling to stand on any common ground  that the OP and the boundaries is set by.

Now I'm not going to say the Labour stance is correct , anything but . What I will say is we should question the recent Israeli policies and their impact .

As I say it is difficult to go after one when the other mentions segregation and minority in its policies .

I am as much uncomfortable with antisemiisn within the Labour party as I am with the recent Israeli policy shift . I seem to be in the minority here though

Don't think you are in a minority at all, see Israel in turmoil over bill allowing Jews and Arabs to be segregated

I haven't seen anyone defending Israel's policy, on the contrary. The two issues are separate though.

That is my OP mate , as such you may understand that I am conflicted. I should not be as I do agree to all  points in this OP . I am aggrieved that whilst we all be concerning ourselves on this that Isreal has free reign to go full apartheid in many respects .

I have trouble discussing one without the other and maybe better that I should leave it at that .

Does this mean we should sit back and  and say nowt when the majority party of faith or ethnic race of a nation state will fully engage in a goverment ethnic cleansing in all but name ?

Does not the latest bill passed actually state the majority is more important than the minority ? In all but name mate .all but name .

Any other democratic nation state that suggested these laws let alone passing them we would have an outcry . Isreal it is immune it seems .
