There certainly don't seem to be more than a couple of hundred or so there from all the pictures I've seen.

I did hear on the radio that some of the Greenfel people weren't happy that they were trying to hijack their cause.

Doing what though?

Seems like they were just whinging that they didn't get their own way at the recent election - well any snowflake can do that, they don't have to go on a demo.

“We will not accept those brush-offs and diversions, we will not settle for less than the destruction of May’s coalition of austerity and bigotry – we must bring down this government.”

Very democratic

was the last GE a rise in socialism or a protest at the way the government was taking the country.
As it stands Corbyn and his type of socialism is a busted flush, by the time the next GE comes around he will be in his 70s and deemed too old to be PM. The last GE was the perfect example of what socrates was talking about in the fable of the sweet shop owner and the doctor,

Jeremy Corbyn is 68 years old, that means by the next general election he will be 68.

Whoooooosh

(was a joke - not my own - on the precarious state of the minority govt and that we could well have another general election this year ... replaced Vince Cable with Jezza in this 'recycled' version)

A socialist utopia is easy to achieve. For it to happen we need to take control of money creation from privately owned banks and give to the government.

The last few weeks I've been hearing politicians mock Corbyns ideas with comments like "money doesn't appear out of thin air".  When they say that, they are lying through their teeth.

When someone goes into a bank for loans/mortgages and bank gives you it,  the bank doesn't deduct money from any account to give to you, it simply input 100k or whatever into your account and that's now 100k been created from thin air.

That newly created money then has to paid back, plus interest. However there's never enough money in the system to pay all loans back which leads to booms while banks are lending and busts when they stop.

What needs to happen is the government should be the only ones who can create money and none of it ever need to be paid back with interest. Then and only then can a socialist utopia can exist.

Here's an article from the Bank of England on how money is created. I suggest all read it and learn just how we're all being constantly scammed.

Not much need for a civil march after the general election result. There was cause for concern with intial response to Grenfell, however, they are getting there, which must be recognised.  The Government is so weak and bridled by its division on Brexit it's only a matter of time before it fulminates.  It's sit back and wait for Corbyn et al  with social democracy to take control.  It will be fine, none will be that seriously materially disadvantaged, most will probably see more money in their pockets which is always a good thing.
