Have to say, i don't know much out her, save for what i’ve been hearing tonight, but it seems pretty positive.

Straight talking, no messing is what we need.  Also someone who is going to be tough on crime, causes of crime. Sounds familiar

Disgrace that the Tories have been so soft on crime.

Few years of zero tolerance is whats needed and a few more prisons too.

A vote winner too (save for the rabid red machine that is the left wing press)

Nobody wants to say it, but here’s the truth: Grieve has abused his rights as an MP. He has said one thing and done another. He has let down local party members and the nation more broadly. Scrape away all the nonsense about him being one of the most honest and decent parliamentarians of our era and what you will actually see is an MP who in 2017 said ‘the decision of the electorate in the referendum must be respected’ and yet who last week voted to revoke Article 50 and halt the Brexit process entirely. If that’s a principled politician, then the establishment and the rest of us clearly have very different definitions of the word ‘principled’.

Even the most cursory skim read of this forum will demonstrate that there are many variants of Leaver and many remainers on here used to taunt us because of it.  So it's entirely unsurprising that Boris is ditching anyone that doesn't have his vision of Leave.

If I don't like his version I may panic myself, but I'm prepared to wait and find out what it is first.

I was expressing what I believe is his strategy rather than whether he was wrong or right, as it happens I am a leaver and am in support of his opening gambit. It's just I am unsure it will be successful or not. However something radical has to be tried as more of the same old TM mantra deffo would not work.
