That is your interpretation, but, if for example they are let into UK and can't find a job that they think they are entitled to what then? More riots?

Don't forget its not just Hong Kong where people graduate with degrees and can't find jobs or buy their own property.

No idea, but that is what they should be doing if they are that unhappy. There are schemes like the working holiday visa that lets them work in other countries for a period of time.

But they're not rioting for those things and there's no evidence they have or would do.  That's pure speculation.

Why are you talking about rioting for jobs?   That's some narrative change.

HK never had riots before the CCP attempted to overreach and remove citizen rights and freedoms.  This suggests that the people aren't naturally inclined to riot and that the actions of the CCP caused the riots.  As long as the British government don't do something similar, there's no reason to assume that anyone participating in the Hong Kong riots would choose to arbitrarily riot if granted the right to live in the UK.

Like I said earlier. They have never had democracy in Hong Kong. When we ruled them it was the same.

And what rights or freedoms have the CCP removed from them?

Would I be right to assume the protesters/rioters are highly unlikely to succeed on their demands?

Right or wrong, better or worst, why drag the whole city population into this mess?

You would have to ask them but maybe they refuse to go quietly into the dark.

Fully agree - they should have had that as an option when we handed HK back to the Chinese.

This how terrorists talk. Peacefull protect not working so they have to resort to violence, and when that doesn't work the level of violence has to escalale....until you have 9/11....:-(
