That was a joke! How is different from all the off topic posts on the last pages from you?
Half of your post belong in the banter thread (but at least there is one now). That would be too much work for IG tho

Now ontopic: I have stated a few times on the main brexit thread that the £ will be < € at somepoint this year. Love how many here then used to say “no way” and now are finding ways justify that it will actually be better for us. Ignoring facts like our reliance on imports. You could go on about how "we could just buy british" ignoring we just not have enough!
It has become a childish argument.

You didn't noticed I was only responding?
All points already made:

Winners and losers from a weak Pound | Economics  Help

In short:

Winners from weak Pound
UK exporters who will be more competitive.Foreign tourists coming to UK (a little ironic given context of Brexit vote!)Foreign investors who find British assets/housing cheaper.UK firms who earn profits abroad. (e.g. firms who have investments in the US)Losers from weak Pound
Foreign firms exporting to UK (e.g. Irish farmers hit by fall in Sterling)British holidaymakers going abroad will find US and EU more expensiveForeign workers in the UK. Working in the UK is relatively less attractive (could reduce incentive for net migration to the UK)Are these not facts?
