I think you will find Germany invaded Poland. A deadline was set and expired and so England and France went to war. Had we not Germany would would in all probability took Europe and England. Chamberland knew this hence the declaration of war

I am simply saying there was no way we could have ignored it or infer that is wasnt our problem.

There are some pretty big differences between the two anyway.

Germany was a state invading other states - IS isn't a state

Germany had a military capable of actually getting here, IS have some leftover military equipment.

IS are here because we keep picking a side, giving them equipment and then end up getting the blame, we should stay well away and let the gulf states deal with it...

We seem to have this idea that the way we run things is the best way, yet we seem to be struggling keeping our own country together... I'd argue that when we do things like send troops to Afghanistan and Iraq we often inflame situation rather than resolve situations

I also think it's easy to say send troops in when you aren't one of them, I know if I were a soldier I wouldn't want to be sent over there without someone giving me a damn good idea of how it will actually help, because past experience is telling me we don't help, we just end up with our soldiers getting injured or worse.

Left over military equipment? That's a very simple way of things? They have planes, tanks, ammunition, occupy an area larger than UK including air fields etc. They have set up a government and higherarchy!

They have over 30k troops we have 91k (so already 1/3rd) and growing fast.

Yes there not a state as I have said but there not like some small gang. You need wake up if you think there just some small group with nothing!

They have troops, artillery, money, they are capable!

As for letting the east deal with it;
What if USA had said that to uk when we asked for help? Anyone who thinks this is not far reaching is deluded.

It impacts on the economy, global stability, everything!

When you know something is wrong and others can't so anything and you can you should! Anything less I question basic human values

you note if you were a soldier you would not want to go over? What do you get paid for. You know when you join the forces your role may involve war (protecting this country direct and indirect) and also holding others! If all you plan to do is exercise the whole Heros thing needs looking at as you act as no hero to anyone!

I'm willing to bet everything I have that they aren't planning invading the UK in the next few years...

Even if they have the equipment, they wouldn't dare have a conventional war because they would lose all the advantage they currently have.

What is going on is atrocious but I see no good coming from is marching troops in whatsoever.
