Without them we would not have a PE forum for members to use these talking heads to bolster ones opinion or stance on a subject .

I mean we could not attempt to do this without some help , could we ?

MOD COMMENT: This was also mentioned in another? thread by @nabby .  As you say, it's not always obvious what a link is referring to, nor what the poster's stance on the subject is, so it's always preferable to accompany a link with at least a line or two of introduction. Even a seemingly self explanatory "funny" image can sometimes be taken in different ways by different viewers.  And of course anything that looks like blatant spamming/thread spoiling will be looked upon dis-favourably.

Everyone is incentivised in some way or other. They have an opinion. An opinion that is valued, and valuable, not agreeable by all which is fine. And payment to appear on a panel is totally normal. And in my personal opinion good. Give some of them enough rope to hang themselves i say.

However the moment those who is we don’t agree with do get not a voice is a very sad day for us all.

I do agree with that, but going back to the issue of free speech, my view is that they're not delivering free speech but their own commercial product. A vox pop is more in the spirit.
