Nothing to do with not being arsed, so much as not wanting to pee in the wind, it's the folly of UK democracy. The only saving grace is that labour's utter capitulation leaves a miniscule chance that the mindless morons, who vote as they've always voted, may wake up and think for themselves.

But we did and that's when this was agreed
Its a Fixed-Term Parliament Act, which obviously now counts for nothing.
Be interesting what happens if this election doesn't get voted through.
Theresa May resigns?
Which might actually be what she hopes for, a way out, and save face

Well as Labour want an early election there's not much chance of May losing this vote

I can't believe Labour will agree to an early election. They should call her out on her spectacular u-turn (a list that seems to get longer by the week) and refuse to allow an early election. They're in opposition, so oppose. But they're rubbish and weak-willed.

Not get voted through . Have you not been watching the news of other party leaders , it's a done deal at this point even before the vote tomorrow.

It's sickening. And idiotic. They may as well vote to scrap the Fix Term Parliament Act at the same time and be done with it.

Nothing should be taken for granted,or do you still believe in the polls.
In any case so far I possess freedom of speech and thought

One big question yet to be discussed on here is the issue of the PM refusing to do any TV or radio debates with leaders of other parties. I think she's scared of them because her style can come across as shouty, stilted and ruffled under pressure. She's not nicknamed "The Maybot" for nothing
