Thanks, couldn't find a link to show the actual video. Similar to John Oliver's but with less profanity.

Along with that earlier tweet (which I see has Jenny Eclair making an accusation of ripping off John Oliver), TW's simultaneous Facebook post, video should embed (in case that YouTube rip is removed) ...

I think Jenny Eclair misses the point. Jon Oliver is a comedian who makes a jokey take on subjects. Andrew Neil is employed by an organisation that is usually so desperately neutral it is too afraid to use words like terrorist or Daesh. Andrew Neil was also opening a political show not lightweight entertainment.

Andrew Neil is never shy about saying what he thinks when the occasion merits it. In fact if it were not for him the BBC's Political coverage would be utterly flat. He at least takes it to all politicians and says what BBC News is too timid to say.

There was a concert/thank you in Paris last night for the emergency services and others who were involved in the aftermath of the night.
One thing that rarely seems to get commented on, which I think is absolutely remarkable, is the number of people who died of their injuries in the days following the attacks.   One.  The total went from 129 on the night to 130 a few days later.  When you consider that there were, according to wiki, there were 80 taken to hospital in serious condition (the French news in the aftermath described the 80 as critical) and about 360 others injured to various degrees, to lose only one is just amazing.  They are real unsung heroes and heroines.  The work they did is just awesome.
IMO

Presumably this is the X Factor auditions, which won't even be televised until sometime in August/September anyway? I expect anyone likely to have been involved with any of the events and therefore likely to be upset by the songs would have much more important things to be doing right now than attending X factor auditions.
