Da Bomb is awful! I gave my bottle away. Must have been the orange juice in it or something but I hated it.

As a condiment I love Original Lousiana hot sauce, I bought 15 bottles when Asda sold it off for 20p a bottle

Cholula hot sauce is okay, but I love the taste of Tabasco.

For cooking with I always use Dave's Insanity Sauce, or Temporary if I'm feeling a bit delicate.

Pure Cap was okay, no flavor as such, just pain.

That 100% Pain Salsa from TK Maxx is pretty hot.

I have a bottle of Original Lousiana hot sauce on the go currently. It's okay, plenty hot but like a lot of these things it's rammed full of salt too so you're getting a 'fake' spice/flavour explosion anyway, IYKWIM. Same deal with a lot of Indian chutneys, pickles and dips, yes they've got spice but some are ~10% salt which just exacerbates the 'hit'.

Mike.

My spelling is bad enough anyway, never mind a whole bloody continent spelling things badly on purpose. We have a reasonable language here, why not just do things correctly in the first place?

Not pepper sauces, but picked these up to try:

Anyone tried either and have any comments? Looking forward to them, especially the bhut jolokia one

I've heard they are pretty inedible because of the heat, but haven't tried them myself

I have had the phaal one, it's hot but only slightly hotter than the vindaloo they do imo. Although I have not seen the phaal on sale since.

Well I tried some mad dog midnight sauce tonight, no real taste just 15 minutes of pain and nausea. I certainly would not pay £18 for a bottle of the stuff
