Funnily enough about 2 months ago, playing around I did one deadlift of 90kg. This was before starting any proper training.
But now, despite doing a set of 5 at 95kg, I'd still say that 90kg was a very heavy lift. Mind you, when I did that 90kg before, it wasn't after 5x5 squats and overhead press...

Mind you, I'm happy with my progress, only been on it for 3-4 weeks and only very occasionally ventured into a gym for a muck around before.

I let it touch the floor, then go for it again.

That's what I'd like, but definitely wasn't happening this morning!

well, been to kettlebell class before and it was hard going... did the following - with 16kg for the jerk, and 20kg for the snatch...sore triceps for sure...wonder how I'll cope tomorro night... !

and had to do the jerk / snatch twice....

doing a competition in under 2 weeks too...which is basically the first column...

It sometimes takes me two attempts to get the dead lift off the floor! Doesn't sound heavy... But it *#@£% is!

Another set today, I think I'm progressing quite well. I did find the over head press very hard, out of all of them, this will be the one I Fail on first

nice one - but make sure you keep good form on the deadlift...

my session tonight, but I think the overhead press will be my weak point tonight... mayb keep the same weight as last session...

Yeah in thinking about keeping the same weights again for OHP as it feels like my spine is about to buckle and collapse under the weight....

I thought that, then I thought that getting proper form would probably help me more. My OHP is way over half my weight, but no way will I accept I'm just not strong enough for it.  But doing it 5x5 is VERY difficult. I remain convinced I have poor form...

yep, I have good form on the bench press, squats are fine (tho, both are smith machines sadly), deadlift is fine - but may stuggle as the weigh goes up... will be 100kg tonight...

but I'm already struggle with no body movement on the OH press - and I'll be happy if I can do the same weight tonight as last time considering what I did last night
