I get the diet thing in terms of if you eat 2000 cals or more extra a day everyday then that is a lot of exercise to keep up with it but it can be done.

So I would suggest you continue with the weights as building muscle really can turbo charge fat loss.
HIIT training is also a fast and efficient way to burn fat. I use the Results app from Runtastic. Need no equipment and if you have enough space to lay on the floor then you have enough space to do the exercises. Plus they get naturally and progressively harder, have videos to show the excercises first and have the opportunity to join in with a social feed for other uses all over the world to help with the motivation.
Correcting diet and using that all helped me drop 4% body fat in 12 weeks.
