And carrots.

Why Your Carrots Really Need to be Organic Carrots

I should probably do a bit more research, but these two products have always been the two that I have had concerns about, rightly or wrongly.

Organic carrots are a great example of the organic looking like something out of a martian film while the non-organic look all pristine and sexy.  But it is one that we try to buy organic, even the baby peeled ones.  I didn't know about what that article suggests but I'm sure it's not the only fruit/veg that's guilty of soaking up all the surrounding chemicals/nutrients in the soil.

Ginseng? (Not sure what it comes under though as not a fruit or veg).

It's a root, but so is ginger, so best call it a "spice"

We try to buy local, seasonal, organic produce, as long as it isn't a ridiculous price.
Not eating meat helps, as does buying from our local market, where the stallholders have to live and grow their produce in our local area.
Sure, we buy stuff from the supermarket, but not stuff that we can get from the market.
The milk we buy is organic - the difference between this and the mass-market stuff is visible - you can almost see through the watered-down hormone-laden stuff, plus it has an unnatural colour....
