Guilty of putting my phone on the floor next to me, but it just falls out of my pocket when lying down on the bench (I have it with me for the music whilst running, cycling or cross trainer). Most people do it

Witnessing the self-same thing this week. it drove me NUTS!
This kid, I say kid, early 20s, but his last rep on each set would be chucked down and his phone was in his hand before the weight hit the floor!  fingers tapping like crazy!
Ahh the yoot of today, eh!... don't know they were born, etc!

There was a bloke on the Bakerloo line tube yesterday doing squats, lunges and various other 'balance' exercises in the 'gap' in front of the tube doors as we were moving along.  I attempted to video him but he turned round to face me and looked very 'focussed' indeed so I didn't want any hassle.

The gym I go to is frequented by the local professional rugby team (Worcester Warriors) and its laughable watching the wannabees follow the players round trying to squat and bench press what they have just lifted.

Last week there was a guy wearing 'work trousers' (the cargo type ones with padded knees), a superdry (very thick) woolly jumper and crocs hitting it quite hard on the treadmill: he certainly worked up a sweat.

Are you sure they are not using some fitness app to 'record' their training ? They are portably going for a high score.

Never really used one but did get a few day passes for the local Nuffield. I used it for the pool, one one occasion these two ripped guys came down just in shorts and after preening down the side of the pool a few times to make sure everyone saw them whether we wanted to or not, then laid back on a couple of loungers next to the pool in prime showing off position. It was like they were sunbathing , I'm not even sure the pool has windows, it is quite small and oppressive but a good footfall and excuse to be topless for those who need some sort of reassurance.

I use an app called JEFIT, keeps track of my workout, without the need to carry paper and pen like most others
