Funny enough I got this yesterday but haven't looked at it yet. I hear good things about it.

So... Strange things you see in the gym.... Me!
Never been into gym work before as I prefer to be outside doing stuff but since I finished the c25k app and I'm happy doing 5k runs at my pace, I wanted new challenge...
So I started using the gym at work and going with the missus to the gym as she has been going for years and her results speak for themselves and I don't mind learning off someone who knows what they are doing.
My main motivation was to use weights for extra fat loss and to tone up the muscles. I'm not particularly interested in building bigger, but want to become more athletic.
So anyways... Seeing as I'm aiming to post this all over the net...
26th March 2015 I weighed 84.8kg at about 5ft 8inches and 38 years of age.
On 16th July 2015 at 38 years of age, I now weigh
72.8kg courtesy of running and new weight training.
I'm happy with that, but still got some way to go... Rock on!

Guy walking down the street today clearly fresh from his gym session wearing a "do you even lift bro?" tshirt. It was lucky i didnt have my irony meter on me as it would have blown up on the spot. Typical gym goer with his chicken legs and vascular arms from 100 dumbell curls.

I still don't get why people bring a laptop/phone/tablet and do insanity type workouts in the gym. What's wrong with using all the equipment they are paying for?

Saw a chap with yellow jumbo sponges on his knees to rest his dumbbells on. He was also putting them in his pockets when he was doing lateral raises so when the dumbbell was coming down it won't hurt him. Was definitely an odd sight.

guy sitting on the bench in the changing rooms using the hairdryer to dry his feet, then holding up his trunks from the pool and drying them with the hairdryer for around 5 mins.
