Are you going to be using the customers Kitchen to cook the food in, and using their washing equipment to clean everything up with?

Personally, not in a million years at those prices. I thought the ladies loved dressing up, being taken out and enjoying the whole event of being there at a nice restaurant?

no

two reasons

firstly i like going to restaurants, if im at home i can cook myself, obviously not everyone can or would want to but if i was going to pay for food to be made for me i would much rather it be in a restaurent or something vastly cheaper that i brought home.

secondly how can you cook autentic chinese food in someones home? so much of it requires space and equipment that practically no home has, a wok burner is essential for so much of it and unless you bring a catering van i dont see how it would be possible.

£50 per head? Absolutely not. £20-£25 per head? Possibly, but it had better be good. As someone else said the BTU's on a domestic cooker can't get the heat into the wok and if you are cooking it somewhere else you lose the freshness. Sorry, I don't think it will work.

Sorry, but I'd also say £50 per head is too expensive

IMO unless the house has a huge space where you can watch the action I don't see much benefit over getting the catering brought in.

Saddened slightly that I have to be the first onthread to tell you that there is nothing, nothing at all "top class" or special about the item I've put in bold. Nothing And the bird's "nests" are pretty much just bird's spit, arent they ? No thanks.

Nice idea but there's no way I'd pay that type of money. No doubt if you did it in a very affluent area you'd get some people doing it for some entertainment but other than that, I think it's very limited at those prices.

If it was one of those ones where a young naked Chinese lady lays on your table and you eat the food off her, then there may be some takers
