My mum, dad and me.

Costs anything from £70 - £120 a week depending if we go to the farm shop aswell as tesco or not. Then I spend about £25 a week on my lunch, my mother often buys essentials throughout the week (milk/eggs/washing powder etc) costing £20 extra a week.

We do spend a lot on food, but we tend to eat good quality food.

I'm a single student and still spend around £45 a week on food, exclusively at Sainsburys!

Wife and 2 kids, £600 a month

No ready meals, everything made from scratch, unless its sausages. We spend a lot on fruit and veg.

Family of Four at the moment (oldest at boarding school)

We eat out as a family at least once a week on average.

Weekly charges vary a lot - but roughly:

Wine & Beer £25- £30

Supermarket Stuff: £60-80

Local Butchers £15- £25

Local Grocer £15 - £20
