Well I'm hoping to pop into a store this week to try some vaping devices and will then order a single bottle of black note to try.

To be quite frank, if I can't get anything that tastes like tobacco then I will just knock the whole idea on its head as I'm quite happy with cigs.

I'm assuming that they must do a flavour for cigar smokers? So that would another option if so.

Thanks for all the posts so far as I know have a rough idea of what to ask about

The best cigar/tobacco liquids use actual tobacco leaf extract but these are also the more expensive brands. I've heard Jac Vapour's liquids are quite popular among ex/current smokers though and are reasonable in price.

Ive never found tobacco tasting flavour that really tastes like the old cigs or rolls.
In saying that you adjust, some flavours grow on you just like the old cigs do. For someone that vapes to go back to a cig the taste of the cig is awful like when you first starting smoking then you adjust and that applies to liquids.
I’m very much into my mint and like a good throat hit and the latest batch I mixed up seems to hit the spot nicely.
I still have the odd roll and cigar but they are more of a habit like after a good meal out.

Just been to a vaping shop and so far things are mixed. Purchased a aspire k2 which I'm happy with for now. The tank doesn't last long 1/4 empty in 20 minutes, but otherwise it's fine.

As warned they weren't that clued up on tobacco liquid, but I bought a pirate omg 16 Marlboro to start with (does the 16 mean it has 16mg of nicotine in it?)

Anyhow they added 12mg of nicotine and off I went. It certainly delivers on the nicotine front now (possibly slightly to much), and the amount of smoke is close to a normal tab which is good.

Throat hit is ok a best though and tobacco taste is way too weak so I still need to look elsewhere.

Once one of you kind chaps can tell me if the 16 on the pirate was referring to nicotine or something else I will order in some black note

I'm I safe to vape when watching TV or is that a no no?
I also got given a iFresh tobacco 11mg that i am currently trying instead. Its still too week and the nicotine is too low, but its better than the Pirate stuff

Have a try here, they have at least 15 tobacco flavours simply search tobacco and will all come up. They do a sample pack where can select a few for bit cheaper. Ive tried the american gold before wasn't bad.  I use them for the peppermint i make for my mum and use them for years.

And you should be on 18mg imo. Even i use 12-18mg in my non sub ohm tanks.

Thanks @GMC79 I will take a look at the site in morning, sample packs would suit me to a tee right now as I can see tracking down the right taste could take awhile.

My concern with the TV (correct me if I'm wrong)is that you blow out water vapour, and electrics and water don't mix. Ok I'm being paranoid here, and electrics and cig smoke isn't a great mix either, but it is one I know where vaping is still new... So I'm a little paranoid

I will take your advice and stick with 18mg for now and order a whole load of sample packs. I will also in morning order some small black note bottles, it isnt cheap, but compared to my current weekly spend, spending 50 odd quid on samples is a drop in the ocean
