Thanks! This arrived today.

I just thought I'd post to confirm that it seems to be the right version and everything - I thought it might be a misprice and that I'd get a CD-only release of the set, or something.

Came well packaged, too - it looks like Play made a little effort. I was a little worried when it got here because the outer box had obviously been dropped by the royal mail, but upon opening the parcel the presentation packaging emerged totally unscathed.

Back up to £48 on Play again, but perhaps worth keeping an eye open to see if it drops back down. I think the best price I could find for this set a few weeks ago was £60.

Its been at £60 ish for a while and only dropped to around £40 for a week, so a good buy.

For anyone that doesn't have The Rolling Stones London Years box-set in their collections(it's 3x SACD and great sound, stereo only), someone is selling the set for £19.99   £1.25 P&P on ebay at the moment. Great price but I arlready have it.

I don't think that's the SACD version.

The one you link to says it's only a single-disk - I think the "enhanced" in the title refers to this "Opendisc" rubbish.

Yes the double disc version (also called the " Deluxe Edition") has a hybrid SACD disc and also a bonus DVD with the album in stero, 5.1 DTS (24/96 in brackets) and 5.1 DD.  

But the sticker on the front also refers to the enhanced Opendisc content, tho I havent used it.

Think the Deluxe edition was around about 11 quid.

Hi, Sorry it looks like I have made a booboo. I searched Amazon for SACD and this came up. I should have known better.
I have the Delux edition with 5.1 SACD and bonus DVD with 5.1 DTS.
I got it from Play market place as a used copy. I have seen it for sale several times at a reasonable price used.

One of the reviews refers to "SACD" and links to this version. I took a punt on one of the secondhand sellers for £1.70   delivery. I'll hacked off if it's not in the condition described, though, or it turns out not to be SACD.
