After reading this thread I checked mine ( I wasn't planning on using it for a while ) and yup , its showing the same fault . I haven't contacted amazon or original supplier yet , but if they're only offering a cash refund . I think I'll take my chances and just change the plug .

page 24 of the instruction manual

"Belkin Limited warrants to the original consumer or other end-user of
any PureAV Power Console for the life of the product, that the PureAV
Power Console shall be free of defects in design, assembly, material
or workmanship and will repair or replace, at its option, any defective
PureAV Power Console free of charge."

I cant see how they can do anything else but repair or replace on a free of charge basis when the warranty is so explicit.

He means, it's Belkin's get out clause.

That said, I'll be surprised if Belkin don't repair or replace defective units.  It would be a pr disaster if this was leaked to the press.

I read it that its their option to repair or replace, nothing more, nothing less; I can't see any "get out clause".

Same. As i said if i hadnt missed the call from Belkin yesterday im almost certain a replacement unit would of been here today. Phone isnt leaving my hand until they call again now

Hmmmmmmm - dont hold your breath - I have just spent the best part of 1 hour trying to get some where and at every stage I just get the same type of answer - it has been passed to the appropriate department, the appropriate manager isnt working today, etc etc  I am now promsied a call tomorrow.  See hwat happens tomorrow, but it looks like I might have to hunt a little further for Mark Reynoso's email or then again I could just try reynosom never know your luck

Looks like Belkin are indeed shipping direct - I cant see these orders being fullfilled
