well ive paid £14.80  for httyd, which is not bad, but since ive saved a fortune over at hmv, im pretty happy at the mo, although i couldnt cash in on there current 3D bluray releases as the starting price of most is already £28 - 35 which is nuts..however pre-orders like avengers and titanic are happy days!

I also got four reasonably decent buys at "Sainsburys" two for £30 3D BD offer. HTTYD and Megamind plus the two Kung Fu Panda 3D combo's for £15 a piece plus, for what it's worth, Nectar points. All four of these movies with the 3D BD, 2D BD and DVD disc sets have (so far) never dropped to a low / lowish level untill this offer came up. At all other sites, at the mo, they're £20 plus so even at £15each it represents a decent deal. My limit, usually, is no more than £9.99 but as these titles rarely drop below the £20  mark I made an exception.

Thanks for that, I've just tested it and you're right, one of them is the 3D disc, with no indication whatsoever on the disc that it's the 3D disc haha.

The weird thing is my friend bought a copy and his has a nice big shiny "3D" logo printed on his, which mine doesn't, printing error? Either way, not too fussed now, so long as it's just a printing error.

Damn I ordered Transformers and Thor 3D from the sainsburys 2 for £30 two days ago and just got an email saying:

The shipment of this item has been delayed. We are doing all we can to get your order to you as quickly as possible.

We will not charge your credit or debit card until we despatch your order.  However, your card issuer may reserve funds in your account against the order. If your order is cancelled, your card issuer will not instantly release those funds as it is standard Banking practice to wait for the original authorisation to expire. Please contact your card issuer for details of their policy.

I hope they honour the order!

This may be a good thing.  The 3d version of thor is truly poor, at times so murky you can't see what's going on.  2d at least lets you watch it.

Same for me when I bought it a couple of months back. No indications on the disc and of course I put the 2D version first and had to sit through all the pre-menu rubbish only to find it was the wrong disc, so I took the other disc out with a view to swapping them over, took the 2D disc out and managed to drop them both on the floor, so stil, had no idea which was which and ended up putting the 2D disc in again

Would it have hurt them to just print 3D somewhere on one of the discs?

The weird thing is, some of them have 3D printed on them, because my friends copy does.

Amazon have now removed it from sale, others have obviously complained and aren't fortunate enough to visit avf
