GTA 4 was better than 5, IMO.
The story was better.
It was dark and gritty, with just enough comic relief to keep its traditional funny side.
The main story made up most of the content rather than loads of side missions used as filler.
It was a more "traditional" GTA, with a single character and save points that picked up where you left it rather than having your character spawn in random places.

I'll admit that the controls aren't as good now compared to 5.
The on-foot controls seem a little muddy compared to 5, and the driving is far better in 5 too.
The cars in 4 seem like they're floating.
IMO though, it's not unplayable.

I hope the next GTA is more like 4 but with the improved controls of 5.

Its got to be 1986 World Cup Carnival, a very slightly spruced up version of an already chronic game, Artic's World Cup Football. My mate bought it, and was gutted that he already had it! Even worse was the fact that it was the officially licenced game. And we moan about FIFA......

I'm pretty sure Robocop 3 on the Amiga was the first 'modern' 3D shooter as we know them today? Seemed amazing at the time but I bet it looks well ropey now (too scared to check!)

yes i played that one as well, frame rate was like 6/ or frames per sec, its a completely different game to the snes one though.

Yep. SNES one was later - I cant remember if I played that one or not though, so long ago!

I remember playing a third person action game called Lone Soldier back on the PS1 that featured a Rambo style character. That was pretty rank, can't think of one as bad I've played since.
