You can, press ESC go to options, select UI and it's the top option 'Show Corner Map'.

It's taken me all day to download just 1g but just getting around to playing it and it seems really good.  Feel free to add me, my character name is Hyve.

EDIT: Just completed the first main quest  and I can't believe how good this is and how polished it is considering it's F2P.  Also, just before I logged off a message appeared stating that someone was the first to reach level 72. (recover the medicine chest)

I hadn't seen or heard anything about this, but it looks amazing! How does the mmo side work - do people see other characters all the time like a normal mmo (with different servers), or do you have to group up like in diablo?

From what I can tell the area where you pick up quests, store your stash (a very small area near the start of the game) acts as a hub where you can see other players.  The main questing areas you 'zone' to and here you are on your own unless (I'm guessing) you're grouped.

yeah its instanced once you leave town, but theres also a bilboard in town where you can post if you want to form a group and ppl can join from there, just a much easier way of doing LFG

yeah those people have been playing the game for about a year though, even when I was in closed beta they always have hardcore races and track who the winner is etc
