World Of Warcraft Legion Starting Out at 1000 Questions

Has anyone played any of the new Alliance races?
I have a Demon Hunter who a Night Elf and geared up to 880 and lv 18 in their Artifact power but want to change their name. The cost of changing and the hassle and the name could be taken be time Blizzard got to changing it. I thought of re rolling the char, and the cost I save could buy me a months sub and easily get them where they are now  as I have every class about that lev and played for about 4 off and on with the current expansion.
But wondered if there were a lot better race for a DH other than what's on offer without the next expansion which I don't have. So to hand on to re roll them.

I believe there only 2 races that can play a DH or so was said before the next expansion.

I am thinking of getting back into WoW after quitting with the release of cataclysm.

If you missed Cataclysm you missed a stinker, the screwed a lot of the geography and old quest up with it. Luck if you come back you should be able to quickly get through it. May even have a boost beyond it but you need all the addons t get to the present lev but a lot of the old addons are going cheap now.

You should only have to pay for game time currently, all expansion up to Warlords of Draenor are included with the base game purchase and shortly Legion after BFA has been released.

Does anyone know how to get to Pandara for th1st time with a lv 110 char?
I tried looking on the notice board outside both AH in Stormwind also I want to the war map room in the keep and could not find anything there. Also the portal is not there on the island near the Cataclysm island portals, but still there for my other chars that did it when MoP came out.

BTW whats the crack with the ballon ride first one I got kicked out with someone and they hit the ground and survived and I hit a tree and died. Next time I was ready and hit glide as I go kicked out and it would not work and died again.

I found there is a portal to Vale of the Eternal Blossom, but I flew down to the starting place where you usually portal to from Stormwind and found a portal back to Stormwind and I took it expecting it to open up a portal in Stormwind back to Pandaria but there wasn't.
So still need to find out how to open it up.

Can anyone explain this!
I went on my first mission of the day which I get about 20% increase chance of success. It was a 16 hours one and had a char with  40% sucsess Vial of Timeless Breath and a 30% one Bottomless Flask both for quest over 8 hours.
The other slot in the follower was locked at present. So when I added them to the mission I was expecting well over 100% chance but I only got about 40% and the timer was reduced from 16 hours to 8.

What the flip playing the game and was logging a different char and gets bumped out of the game and reconnecting and get 166min. I don't get this on a free to play game not one I sub for.
