I reckon my focal range is limited to around 90 degrees horizontal, no more than 120 degrees, everything beyond is peripheral and requires me to use my neck and twist to focus. So at 150 degrees horizontal they could us a Foveated rendering technique to simplify a third of the screen area without eye tracking.

So I just got an email from Pimax with an image of their Knuckles.

Strange thing is they have a middle finger button unlike the Valve Knuckles which are all capsense.

I wonder if Valve have changed their design with the extra button.

Yup just got the same thing, it better not have sodding trackpads!

It will, almost certainly. What's your aversion to trackpads? Very little uses them beyond one big button.

I`ve just never liked them on games controllers, steam pad, Vive wands.... hate em :-(

I`d put them on par with those little containers of creamer with foil lids

Pimax passes the $2million mark with 11 days to go before the Kickstarter finishes. The stretch goal unlocked the $100 coupon towards the Wireless module.

I just hope they are actually in a position to mass produce these things. January is nonsense if they don't have an assembly line ready to go. We know nothing of their partners, e.g. who makes those displays?

I'm probably sounding like a naysayer but I do hope this is a stunning success, I wanna buy one at retail soon!

At the least, a hunger for a new gen premium tethered headset has been demonstrated!
