I just ignore that "feature". I think it is the most pointless "upgrade" i have seen so far in a VR device - i wrote this somewhere before, i think it was on oculus forums but if it was here and i am repeating i appologise.
IF you trust the inside out tracking that HTC are working on the Cosmos may be a good choice.
IF not however the cosmos is an awful choice as by the time you get the other bits it will cost far more than the index.
want inside out tracking imo consider a cosmos (or rift S of course)
want light house tracking get an index (or VivePro if you really want OLED) |
