Now more and more videos are popping up, this looks like it could actually be one of those things that's as good as it promises to be. Imagine combining it with a Leap Motion ( https://www.leapmotion.com/ ).

I didn't know about Leap Motion before, but having just looked at their video it's amazing..and exactly what I'd want with Oculus and a racer for example..assuming you map points on screen for your fingers etc it would get away from not actually seeing things like button boxes and steering wheel features..

It's just nice to see a main developer get hold of a rift and start using it to the benefit of their customers.

I'm hoping for integration with the frostbite engine, I won't hold my breath.

I would guess to start with we'll be relying on third party drivers (Vorpx and Vireio) for our AAA VR gaming fix...

In the meantime you could pop out, grab a yorkie and join the convoy

Well it does have pad support so I guess I could give it a go..

On a serious note (on my phone) does the sim have multiplayer so you can compete for shipments and time penalties or am I asking too much?

If it has the above an I can eat a bueno bar, I'm sold

Does anybody actually pay the £1000 for all the Train Simulator stuff?

OC Rift does look really good! I can't wait to test it next year. It could in theory come to replace monitors entirely for gaming.
