I actually find the opposite to be true on my quest vr cover. It does a better job of preventing light leaking in, but the leather is very uncomfortable and "clammy".

I've gone back to using the stock interface and foam now.

I think best option for comfort is still the vive DAS   studioform strap. I've actually just adjusted the studioform so that it attaches to the BACK of the DAS via velcro, and then to the FRONT of the headset in the middle (same place as the D-RING that the DAS loops through). I'll try to take some pics later.

Feels much better now.
