Samsung Galaxy Tab S5e Announced (2019)

When I was in the Samsung store they had 2 official cases listed.  I think one  was called a Book Case and the other was a Slim Case or something like that.
The book case was £59.99 and supposed to be available the same day as the tablet.

The book case looks nice if a little pricey - there's also meant to be a Keyboard Cover like the Tab S4 - personally as this one is less of a work device (although Citrix will be fine on it) I've got a portable Logitech K380 which was about £25 - that might be easier to stick in my bag for when I want a keyboard.

I notice the 128GB S5e has 6GB RAM v the 4GB in the 64GB variant - is extra RAM really noticeable on an Android Tablet?

If you have a lot of apps open then maybe a little, just saves the processor having to reload them as much. I don't imagine it will be a massive difference though.

Fair enough! More RAM than I've seen in a tablet (Save for the £2000 1TB iPad Pro!)... I think this will tick the box for me, was tempted by the S4 and I feel like I may miss the Stylus but performance wise I don't think this will dissapoint - high bonus being able to stick in a 512GB SD card to add to the storage for £80 v buying something like a 512GB iPad Pro!

I too was tempted by the S4, girlfriends S4 is really good to use and to me, all the important bits are in the S5e. I have used the stylus and I just don't see me using it so it's not a selling point.

Annoyed that I didn't get mine today though and I don't really feel in the loop as to when I'll get it. I preorded just after it was up for pre-order

I do like the S4 and at £509 its not badly priced right now although £429 for 128GB on the s5e isn't too bad - I spent 30 mins playing with an S4 in the local Samsung store and while I liked it I found the S-Pen to be fairly poor v the Apple Pencil or even my Surface Pen on my Surface Pro so can live without it on my media/browsing tablet - mouse support is probably more important to me!

I have heard nothing today with regards my tablet. If it carries on too long I think I'll be getting in touch with Argos and see if I can't get some money off. As far as I was aware, it was launching on the 18th...

Just had a look at the Argos site, not sure which variant you ordered but there’s actually stock in some stores today!
