yep, iOS 9 is released at 6pm UK time and this is being released simultaneously i think.
from experience, servers get VERY busy at launch and there is risk of slow or incomplete software downloads so I generally wait a few hours. If you feel like venting frustration at this delay, just remember that some HTC users wait on average 34 months for updates (warning: figures may not be factual)

Oh well, on the plus side at least IOS9 is out.

Oh well, I suppose it's not worth releasing until it's right. I was looking forward to it.

My iPad has iOS 9 on now, and my iPhone is backing up in preparation.
