AVF Golf Day - Friday May 23rd 2014

First post updated with time and to remove some of the info about the other courses.

They already had a few reservations for that morning but have managed to get 3 x tee off times in successions from 1052 am onwards.

Nothing at the moment Toasty.

Unless we get our numbers up to 12, it'll be pay on the day.

If we can get to 12 then i'll ask them about pre booking bacon cobs/dinner etc which will then require some upfront payment.

Nice tee-times there Dom, not too early for those with a long drive, but still early enough to ensure we will be finished at a reasonable time as well

Preston is checking with work to see if he can get the day off so as soon as he lets me know, I will post back with his answer

Played at the weekend, but conditions were bad and my back was giving me problems so couldn't put a swing on the ball at all and shot 14 shots worse than my last round with a 95. Hoping to play again this Sunday but hoping my back is sorted as it is still giving me some trouble

Spoke to Preston about the day while we were playing golf on Sunday and he can't make this date either, so I will be turning up on my own this time

I chucked my 3 cards in for my handicap at the weekend and the club have said they are putting me down for a 14 handicap, so not a bad start to the year I guess considering my aim is to get as close to single figures as I can by the end of the year

Yup, I will be there unless I throw my clubs away as playing the day before as well.....so if I have a bad round there is plenty of water to throw the clubs in
