No way! I'd rather scratch my eyes out with rusty nails than watch that. Eastenders have obviously completely run out of ideas that they are having to bring Sharon back yet again.

Well you could get your finger ready to press enter on tickets for the 2014 Commonwealth Games in Glasgow and the 2015 World Athletic Championships in London.

I can see them both being sellout events off the back of the 2012 Olympics, and in some events the Commonwealth Games will have just as high quality a field as the Olympics.  No Team GB however....

I am planning to try much harder than I did for the Olympics to get tickets for both.

I'd recheck your World Athletics for 2015 as you may be going a lot further than London! It's Beijing in 2015. London isn't until 2017. But it will be in the Olympic Stadium in London so it should be good.

On an Olympic comedown too. Am a general sports fan but still did not expect to get so taken in. From Boyle, Bean and Bond, to Wiggans, Ennis, Farrah and Bolt it has been an enthralling, exciting, epic and emotional roller-coaster. Honestly have no recollection of what I did in the evenings instead of sitting down to watch Linekar, Balding, Sue and Jake. How long are the videos staying on iPlayer for? Maybe this calls for feeding the withdrawal symptoms by re-watching it all from the opening ceremony and delaying the return to normality.
