Nothing biased about that statement. Certainly one of the greatest players to have ever pulled on a rugby shirt.

Oh dear Howley. I know that once the players take the field there is very little the coach can do, so perhaps the responsibility for the shambles that was Wales' play in the first half should rest with the captain, Warburton.

Really enjoyed the England game. They were certainly in full control of the match. Twelvetrees had a wonderful game, great ball skills. But England please learn some other songs, Swing bloody low. Plus your boring anthem.

Well done Italy, a thoroughly deserved victory. Out smarted and outplayed France from the very start. At least one Welshman had a good first weekend, our Nigel did very well and I think he helped to a good flowing game, especially at scrum time. Don't think Italy will be pinching Wales' Wooden Spoon. Think that trophy is heading to Mr Howley's locker.

Excellent weekend of rugby. Italians building on progress of last year. Can see Scotland finishing last again. No French flair or organisation, need to step up fast.

If they beat the Irish in Dublin, they probably deserve it but that's a big 'if.' Ignoring the results for a minute, I've seen few better games of rugby this weekend and never sequentially. I've got bugger all work done as a result but hey ho.

Good point - I can't remember three back-to-back games as exciting.

Re: Ireland v England - I can't help feeling that's going to decide the Championship, and possibly a Grand Slam as well.

what impressed me about England was the performance more than the result.I thought the NZ was a one off given that they have doine that in the past .I remember they beat them and Oz back in the early seventies and were then whitewashed in the 5N.I dont believe they are going to find things anywhere near as easy against Oireland who are much better at turnovers and slowing opposition ball down.It will be interesting to see how they cope with the breakdown areas and set pieces. On balance i take Oireland to win because for one thing they have more experienced players ,BOD chief amongst them, and a more settled squad. England's most experienced is Flood and he'll be on the bench.Still this is about the next world cup and building towards it so more than anything its the manner of the performance I will be looking at.

Who on earth is 'Oireland'?

Building towards the next world cup? I don't think they should even bother. Aim to get the Grand Slam, that's the 'be all and end all'. The World Cup? Yeah great but get the Grand Slam out of the way. 'Oireland' never do that great in the World Cup anyway, Six Nations is the priority.

of course, win every game if you can but for me getting the performances right  and moving forward as a team  is the priority at this moment. This team can only get better and better just like SCW's did but it will take time.Ireland have a very good side but they are beatable, Wales showing in the second half what is possible, win the forward battle negate BOD and Sexton and you are there.BOD is absolutely awesome and I just hope he stay fit for the Lions tour
