The match itself was excruciating to watch, though - until the Welsh flair showed itself, both sides were evenly matched.

SBT, you shouldn't just stop watching games if you're certain one side's going to lose - look at Wales vs Scotland a few years ago in that classic Welsh comeback, bet you switched off before that happened as well.

Wales did what was needed of them. Grind out a win. The result was far more important than ever for them with another two away games coming up. North's try was like watching a giant Shane Williams, it showed great maturity with keeping his feet in the air as he touched down. Defences were on top for the majority of the game and with both sides more afraid of losing it was never going to be pretty.

Looking forward to this afternoon it looks like the weather will be a major factor.

Well done Scotland. Played some nice Rugby for a change. I know Italy made a few huge mistakes, but normally Scotland wouldn't capitalise on these.

I didn't switch off because  i was certain one side was going to lose.I switched off because it was boring as hell and i was certain it was going to be a draw .At that point both teams were dire.Snatching a late win in a totaly boring game,doesn't make it a great game unless you're Welsh ofcourse.

As for today Ireland will be favourites,espesically being at home.
Although if it does turn out to be a boring game,which i doubt as they are the best two teams,and we snatch a late win i'll be happy Just like the welsh were yesterday.

I thought Wales were the better team yesterday and deserved the win. They tried and were better territorially but French defence was pretty solid. What's all this afraid to lose rubbish? No way Wales weren't trying to win the game. I don't get that comment.
Apart from first 25 mins last week we were much the better team than Ireland. To be fair to Ireland they were fantastic and well deserved their lead.
Big game today though.

Still feel Wales can win the rest of their games now so the tourney is far from a two horse race.

Tbf neither team so far have looked like six nation winners.
Wales were dire in the first half of both their games,and france were just dire the whole time.
