Oh dear, I really didn't realise there were so many people like that.

Depressed me now, still i suppose if they went to the guardian site they'd think the same

Mighty Mo. Watched it in my local last night. The bar was packed as they came in from the beer garden. With three laps to go the noise level in the bar started to increase and in the final few metres we raised the roof. Brilliant.

I've not heard this level of noise in the pub other than in a Welsh international rugby match. Mo Farah is an inspiration and thoroughly deserves his two golds.

Arddechog.

I wouldn't worry too much. Mo lives in Great Britain. They live in Grumbling Britain, and seem to love living there. There's lots of them about, and unfortunately we don't have a mechanism for kicking them out. We'll just have to put up with them and smile.

Nick Griffin has been Tweeting unpleasant stuff as well...to be expected I guess

8 year old Somalian boy arrives in Britain without speaking a word of English and embraces the land to go on and become double gold Olympic champion - how can anyone not be pleased and proud about that?! Ridiculous

He has a foundation too and generally seems like a nice bloke (which is more than you can say for some of our cheating, lying, wife shagging footballers!)

He ran the last lap in under 53 seconds; amazing!

Great achievement by Mo but I can't get exited by it as he's from Somali, plus it's a bit disrespectful to his home country imo. It reminds me of when Greg Rusedski used to play at Wimbledon and everyone would be all excited because he was British, was he really that British, if Usain Bolt decided to get British citizenship similarly I wouldn't be excited because we now have the fastest runner in the world.

It just doesn't seem right, I wonder why in international sport these days they even have the county name on their vests, it doesn't seem to mean anything anymore, they may as well perform for themselves, it's like the marathon this morning, the 3 guy's running for France weren't even French, what's the point of international sport if you can represent a country your not even from? How do we know what countries are good at what sports these days?

I know it's an oldschool view and most people don't agree, I realise the world is a different place these days but I prefered the old days when you could say, the African's are the best at long distance running, the Russians are the best Gymnasts, the Brazilian's are the best footballers and it was up to the rest of the world to catch up but by using their own athletes, not by stealing other countries athletes.

BTW no stupid, oh your so racist, BNP, type comments please, it just my point of view.

Couldn't be bothered to read most of this, as it's the definition of tldr and same old same old.

But since he came here at a young age, was brought up and went to school here, and his wife and kid are from here, can he not be called British?

Or is it only white Anglo-Saxon ethnic Germans who are entitled to that pleasure?

If you didn't read it why comment, what's more it was the typical BNP type reply, what a surprise, I was only giving my opinion on International sport in this or any other country.

His dads British as well
Mo is as British as me and my family.
He seems like a great bloke , plus he's the only person to beat the cube.

Would you feel the same if he was white and moved here from Germany or France ?
