100% guaranteed to all leavers that staying in the EU is the end of the world?

Don't be ridiculous, it really doesn't help the argument to pluck figures out of thin air. Something doesn't have to be the end of the world to want to leave. Doesn't mean one can still want to leave. Heck I'm moving back into the EU, but still would want to leave there as well. I think it is inevitable over time. A big reform is required, but as the EU isn't interested it will fail eventually.

You're comparing the House of Lords to the Eu, the difference being the House of Lords have and are in fact part of and live in the UK. The House of Lords do not have the same or comparative influence as the EU. The EU are not even part of the same land mass, making an assumption that what is good for the 27 member states is also good for us. Britain has always had an inviolable sovereignty of its parliament.

You're personal statement on whether the EU serves our economic interests is irrelevant, the vote was to leave.

As opposed to the purely innocent, utterly truthful and full of integrity Leave campaign....

Exhibit A (it's quite big as I know you have trouble reading sometimes ) -

As usual you don't really have a point do you

Unless you're trying to suggest those behind the Leave campaign do have the best interests of us Brits at heart....

Well the point is that the Leave campaign complied with all the rules as laid out by the EC - it was just that the EC misinterpreted their own rules.

As for withdrawing its appeal, it did so because it ran out of money - when fighting Government departments with bottomless pockets that is not hard to do.

The High Court agreed with the Electoral Commission finding in July that Vote Leave had broken the law, but said the watchdog had misinterpreted the rules, in the run-up to the June 2016 referendum, in advice it gave to the Leave campaign.

I have a sensible question.

What is wrong with Canada    and why has Parliament totally disregarded it.  The EU has mentioned several times that it was still available and on my brief reading it seemed quite reasonable but wondering whether I have misunderstood something about it. I was expecting to see it on one of the indicative options but it wasn't which surprised me.

I assume it still has the Irish problem to overcome but so did some of the other options that did get voted on.

Cheers,

Nigel

And on similar note, what is wrong with removing the backstop from the withdrawal agreement.

No guys, we are after something with at least partial customs union and single market alignment.
