I wish I had gone for the Golf R when the deal was about but unfortunately I was not in the position I am now (due to health issues) How long have you got left to wait?? I bet you are climbing the walls!

That ST-3 deal is pretty good.

Was even better a few months back (circa £165 a month) everything else the same.

Still, as it is now, it's a fraction better than i'm paying for my ST-2!  I waited and waited but i guess i should have waited a few months more and i could have had all the toys for the same price.

G2L were good to deal with.  No hassles.

Quite liking the ST-2 as well.

Wish i'd gone with the Golf R too.  Wouldn't have minded the 30% odd more fuel that the R probably uses at current prices too

I spoke to a Ford Dealer around the same time and the PCP deal on offer was circa £2K more over the 2 years.

That made the lease decision a no brainer.

I was finding the ST-3 has gone up since the start of the year, G2L were the only ones under £200 per month (I guess they still have cars purchased before the rise but not registered?)

This is for the wife and only a second car however at near £20k new its worth more than mine! :0

Glad to hear good things about G2L, never used them before but so far pleasantly surprised.

For the R

Never saw sub £230 a month myself but i guess the higher deposit evens things out.

That said, if i could turn the clocks back 6 months i'd be all over that

You'd also still be waiting for one on this very day I reckon! Lead times are very slow...

270 a month in reality.

Not that bad a deal but still at least 1K, possibly 2K more (over the 2 years) than when the very best deals were available.

Still a year before i'll be looking for my next deal so they'll probably be a new kid on the block by then.
