talking of jukes, i found a lease deal for a nismo rs that tempted me.

£1145 deposit
18 months
10k miles
£191 a month vat included

Nissan Juke 1.6 DiG-T Nismo RS 5dr Leasing | 6 17, 10000 Miles | Nissan Leasing

18 months might not sound like much, but means i could potentially change it relatively quickly.

only thing i am not a fan of is having to stump up a deposit for a new car every time.

part of me prefers the finance deals available from Nissan though at the bottom of this link

Car Leasing - Volkswagen Golf 2.0 Tsi R 300bhp 4WD 5dr

Reasonable Golf R deal but, from memory, still at last 1K (overall over the 2 years) more expensive than when the best deals were around.

having given thought to a lease, i am now tempted to take one out. sell my car for circa £2.5k - use half of that as a deposit and save the rest and get a juke nismo rs like in these deals

http://www.smartlease.co.uk/nissan-juke-nismo-car-leasing-buiness-personal.html

top deal on that page - £1413 deposit
18 monthly payments of £157 including vat.

only thing is, i would much prefer to have the tech pack, so don't know how easy it would be to add in optional extras.

That's practically (pro rata) what i'm paying overall for my Fiesta ST-2.  Probably 17 payments too as isn't the deposit payment counted as the first?

Seems an ok deal, save for the 5K miles though.  How much do they up the price for realistic mileage?

That's my Juke arrived.
For £179 a month (VAT included) I must say I'm chuffed.
Some serious toys in this thing.

i give it a week and you will be bored and will have a new car

you go through cars quicker than a hooker goes through clients.

I do tend to get bored with cars, that's true.
But the reason I went through so many cars in the past year because I could.
They were mine, bought, free to chop and change at will.
If I'm tied to a car for a certain period, as I was with company cars for decades and I will be with this car, then I'm happy enough to go with it.
