Make a point of trying it out with the staff when you take it in and get them to write down it is working before the work. Oh - check it is working first of course

Cant tell for sure, but i dont think so.

If i had been there at time of purchase , we wouldn't have bought the car anyway. I still think it should go back , but Mrs is insisting that we get it repaired.

They are still having problems getting the part . Apparently its still in the car that its being taken from to be fitted in ours.
Its booked in for Monday with a return hopefully by Wednesday.

I still dont hold out much hope, the trust has completely gone in both the car and the garage.

Hope you get it sorted. I'm considering not bothering taking mine in. The warning about parking away from buildings is a little alarming though!

You have to get the recall work done just to be on the safe side, make sure you go to a reputable main dealer, and do whats been advised here , show who ever you give it too that its all working first, and then test it before you leave.

Personally i dont think our car should have been sold to us before the recall work was done, again though i blame the MRS !

Thats the starter motor solenoid sticking, it should return back in once the engine has started.
