so second week with the car
Got to say, its surprised me...pretty nippy for a wee 1L
Driving like a pensioner just now to see what I can squeeze out of the MPG
I do 8.2 miles each way Mon-Fri, so far its at 41MPG.....thought it might have been more considering I'm accelerating gently and changing gear at 2000 rpm, so it's not getting revved to buggery lol

What about on a run?

Will it suffer (mpg) on the motorway with a tiny engine?

On mine I get around 44 - 45 mpg from my daily commute of around 9 miles, mixture of country, town and A roads. I'll get 55 on a long distance A road and around 50 on a motorway run. It does take a bit of time to get used to the engine and it's optimum rev range for economy.

Right now I'm driving it like an old man.
Gear changes at 2000 revs, slow gradual acceleration, basically the entire opposite of how I normally drive.  It's crept up to 43mpg this week.
Haven't done a long motorway run yet to try it out
