I've had a fantastic few days in North Yorkshire. The view at Sutton Bank blew my mind.

Love Kefalonia. Assos is one of my favourite parts, make the effort to walk up to the castle starting where the old man sells honey under a tree.

Lassi is where we stay as the beach is great. The water there is pretty much up there with the Maldives for clarity and colour. Stunning.

Off to Turkey in a week, we'll be avoiding kushadasi for security reasons and stick to the quieter parts where we have a holiday home we've just sold, so last family holiday there after many good ones.

Next time go a bit further North went from Alston to Glennridding and back. Wow scary hairpin bends, 1,900 ft amazing.... The bikers were loving it and respect to the cyclists!

Work or play in Dubai, I may be going up there next weekend to see some folks, was going to do it this weekend but got a Friday brunch I need to attend.

Holy mother of all things Holy! You like the heat then? Step daughter lives there and has several friends of hers who are all leaving as its intolerably hot at the moment. Sorry to spoil your excitement but too hot to even go out!
